Thursday 14th – Table Quiz at McGeough’s Bar, Roden Place from 8:00pm – 11:00pm

Think you are the smartest gay in the village? Or maybe you just like to show off your awesome ability of recognising celebrities off a bad photocopied sheet? Or have you just recently invested in a shiney new smart phone and want to pit your googling skills against a room full of oponents? Well if yes is the answer to any of these questions then your already one point up so get yourself to our table quiz and maybe put that noggin to good use!

Friday 15th – Official Pride Launch at Eno’s Bar (5 Roden Place, Dundalk) from 1:00pm – 2:00pm

Join us for the Official Launch of Dundalk Pride. A light lunch will be provided.

Friday 15th – Film Screening and Discussion at the County Museum, Dundalk from 7:30pm – 10:30pm

Our chosen film, ‘For the Bible Tells Me So’ is “An exploration of the intersection between religion and homosexuality in the U.S. and how the religious right has used its interpretation of the Bible to stigmatize the gay community.”  The film will be followed by a panel discussion and a complementary glass of wine will be served on arrival. Admission Free.

Saturday 16th – Pride Day at the Outcomers Centre and Courtyard (8 Roden Place) from 12:00pm – 5:00pm

This was a very popular event last year and its gotten even better this year with an outdoor cafe, bookstall, fun fair game stalls (e.g. hook a duck), a travelling circus troupe, holistic therapy treatments, free workshops (break-dancing, balloon making, etc), a barbecue, face painting… and maybe even a magic show. It’s very much a family day so please feel free to invite along family and friends or anyone else you would like to share a great day out with.

Saturday 16th – Pride Party at Club Radius, Imperial Hotel from 10:30pm – late 

After our day festivities, come along to our Pride Party, another great success from last year. Great music, dance floor, a nicely stocked bar, some very sexy gays…..you know this is going to be a good one.

Sunday 17 – Wind Down at the Outcomers Centre (8 Roden Place) from 10:30am onwards

This is pretty much an informal gathering where you can take advantage of the Outcomers large pots of tea, maybe have a bacon sandwich and have a chat/nurse your hangover while you talk about the fun that was Dundalk Pride.
